Humans have assembled massive factories which belch fumes into the air, coloring our already extremely limited perspective of their world. They disembowel our planet, bleeding it dry of oil and fossil fuels with no regard for the consequences. They look devices particularly with the intention of deconstruction and rust, and utilize them in good wars which permanently scar the world.
You’re different. You see the devastation out of your window every day: smog from the skies, exhaust fumes draining the eyes of pedestrians, excess noise and surplus light keeping all surrounding creatures awake and not able to break or find food. You get a small garden and you also do your part to preserve the local ecosystem, however you’d have to be an idiot to look out your window daily, seeing the literal rape of the planet, and believe you can create even the smallest gap.
It’s your obligation to raise the money to repair the damages of the neglected property and make a gorgeous garden. This walk through of Garden scapes will provide comprehensive descriptions of this video game, with additional tips and tricks for specific tricky levels.
This portion of this Gardenscapes walk through will provide you with a play-by-play of a normal level. This is a walkthrough of the Drawing Room level: the first level from the video game.
The Jumble Sale is starting a little slowly, with just 1 customer. He is looking for the Teddy Bear: you can find it on the white chair to your left. Finding it’s going to lead to you promoting the bear to the customer, who will leave some money on the counter. Click on it, and abruptly five customers will appear! News travels fast, so you are going to have to work quicker.
One of your customers is requesting a Yacht. Where she thinks you’d have the ability to fit an whole houseboat from the drawing room is an absolute mystery, but if you grab the model boat resting at the potted plant into the right of the fireplace, she’ll take it and leave you some money. Collect her money, and another customer will arrive.
Next, assess the stool close to the foreground, toward the center of the base of the display. Draped on that feces is a Shawl which one of your customers would like to get. Take care of this for them, then make sure you grab the House Plant put by the end table to the right of this white easy chair on the right side of this display. Give that to another customer and you’ll now have two small piles of money to accumulate, which will open up space for just two more customers as soon as you’ve collected them.
Close to the area where you discovered the home Plant is a Music Stand: it may be difficult for you to see at first since it’s so wiry, but it’s definitely there and also a customer will surely cover it. To the left, on another white easy chair, is a Phonograph you can market also. Completing that sale will end in money, but no more extra customers since there are just ten for this amount.
With four customers left, this is a fantastic chance to wrap up the amount quickly to get a beefy time bonus. The Doll that little woman is looking for can be seen resting on the right side of the mantel, above the fireplace. Since you do not have a matching set, you might too sell the Curtain draped on the right side of this display to that customer who keeps asking about it.
Home stretch. Collect the money left on the counter from the last two customers, then grab the Violin that is hanging onto the wall into the left and market it to a customer. This last one is tricky, because the Painting the customer wants is partially obscured by your port. But, you can still view it poking out from the corner, close to the top-left. Grab it, sell it, and collect the past couple of piles of money to end this amount with a fat stack of money and time to spare!
Outside the walls, no one knows of your his or her amazing accomplishments in the area of botany. Outside these walls, people pass by and tut-tut in pity at the sad state of this once beautiful mansion. A number of those older townsfolk recall when the garden was lush and lively, with visitors coming from all over.
Gardenscapes takes place completely on your grandfather’s mansion, with the garden in the front yard. This may sound dull, but there’s actually plenty of variety in the home, with many unique rooms filled with things you can sell to rubes to cover compost. Here are some of the rooms you will encounter in Gardenscapes:
Drawing Room: After a lavishly decorated and supremely comfortable lounge area for guests to sit by the fire, this room is totally filled with clutter. Picking up all of the meals and silverware is only part of the problem: there are also clocks and small pieces of machinery everywhere for some reason. Perhaps Grampa fancied himself a small tinkerer in his late life, but one thing is for sure: he can’t do any tinkering now. Sell everything!
Toilet: This garage houses Grampa’s once beastly Ford Automobile. As soon as it’s gathering dust now, there was a time when it found plenty of action in numerous street races. Now, someone’s jammed a pair of scissors into the grill and used the hood to flaunt their assortment of musical instruments. The car is salvageable, but the microscopes and guitars and Thermoses all have to go, so let us begin the bidding!
Office: As it was at its most impressive, the mansion took quite a bit of upkeep. The office used to be a place where Grampa could keep track of all of the goings-on and plan out his garden, but since his later years and eventual passing it has been coated in dust and mess. Clearing all of the children’s toys, noisemakers, cooking utensils and meals will be tough, but the resulting cash flow will make it all worthwhile.
Bathroom: no mere washroom, the mansion’s bathroom features a tasteful marble tub with lovely golden knobs. Now, someone has filled the tub with meals, and there are newspapers and small electronics everywhere. Placing aside the fact that you need the capital from selling these things to spend money on the construction of your garden, this bathroom desperately has to be cleaned only for safety reasons.
Bureau Room: This room houses a gorgeous agency full of Grampa’s decoration ceramic dolls. These intricately hand-painted figures were the apple of his eye near the end of his lifetime, but you’re accountable. What might have been a remarkable set in his life is now a selection of creepy little girl toys which stare unblinking at passersby, so it’s time to sell the lot!
Garden: This is exactly what makes everything worthwhile. The garden planted at the front entrance way of this mansion has many avenues with which guests can roam to delight in the gorgeous plants and flowers contained inside, with a gorgeous water fountains in the center. But, deteriorating health and decline in value of property has caused the garden to fall into severe disrepair, meaning that the fountain does not work as well as the trails are overgrown with weeds. Only you can fix this up, restoring its former glory.
Gameplay is split into two main sections: Jumble Sale and Tending the Garden. Jumble Sale is a hidden-object video game where the goal is to find things in a heap of stuff to market in a rummage sale. The better you do at a form of Jumble Sale, the more income you are going to get at the end.
This money is then used at another half of this video game, Tending the Garden. This component of the video game is more free-form, with a great deal of space for customization. The relaxed, Zen-like feeling of the garden mixed with the intense Jumble Sale provides Gardenscapes a balance of challenge and material, with the consequence being fun!
The jumble sale is necessary to acquire the funds required to start construction of New Eden. Thankfully, since everything in the home now belongs to you, this surplus junk can be turned into capital. To be able to ease this, you have to go to each room and find objects hidden in a large heap to find something special for a customer.
A normal form of Jumble Sale will begin whenever someone asks for a single small item, like a teddy bear. Your goal is then to try and find the object in one of the many junk piles in every single room. Successfully obtaining the desired object in a fair period of time will finish the trade, and your reward will be money plus a cleaner living space!
Tips and Tricks for Jumble Sale
~ If you are stuck and can’t find the object a customer is looking for, press the hint button at the bottom-right corner of this display. This will reveal the object you’re looking for, but you should be mindful: you only have a restricted number of tips per level.
~ If you are stuck and have run from hints, a fantastic plan is to begin clicking wildly throughout the screen. There are no negative repercussions for clicking the incorrect items, so the quickest and most effective way to play Jumble Sale is to quickly click your mouse while moving the cursor all around the screen, pausing occasionally to collect the money left on the side.
~ Another thing to keep in mind if you run out of hits is that there are extra hints hidden in certain levels. Keep your eyes peeled for a question mark symbol somewhere in each room and you can get back some of those valuable hints, which can also be flipped into bonus money if you don’t utilize them at a round.
~ Don’t forget to check the side of the display occasionally. This is where you are going to see what things customers are looking for and how much they are prepared to pay. Once you’ve discovered an object, the customer will leave the amount on the sidebar too.
~ Be sure to grab money left by a customer when possible: the sooner you collect money from your sidebar, the earlier another customer can take their place. Maintaining a steady stream of customers is paramount to making money and getting rid of all of the clutter.
~ The longer you choose to help a customer find the object they’re looking for, the more impatient they will end up. Every customer has three hearts next to their portrait, and these hearts will disappear if you take longer than they like to help them. The color of the portion of the video game display will vary in color from green to yellow and finally into red, and a few customers may just walk away if they don’t get help after that point.
~ If you are playing on Timed Mode, helping all the customers quickly will make you more money if you have a great deal of time left over. Playing on Relaxed difficulty will keep you from getting that stressful time constraint, but the tradeoff is you’ll lose out on the extra money bonus if you finish the round quicker.

With the money you’ve earned after completing a level, head out to the garden and you’ll find yourself confronted with many choices.
